Course Brief
Distance Learning M.sc IT from Talent Study Circle is designed for students who have obtained their bachelor's degree in science, commerce, arts or management and wish to build a professional career in Information Technology. This program aims at producing software developers, Computer Programmer, Java Developer or Web Developer. The courses have been carefully designed to take the student through basic concepts to current practices in industry, and hands-on laboratory experience is emphasized at every stage of the program.
The programme aims at realising the following objectives-
To equip postgraduate students with an integrated set of skills that will allow them to develop their professional careers in Information Technology.
To equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge that is necessary to enable them to understand the design of complex computer applications/ science.
The programme also prepares students to embrace future developments in the field and has a demonstrated professional relevance.
The programme helps students to acquire the latest skills and build their future capabilities using world-class technology. At the end of this programme, the student will possess a strong foundation of computer systems and information technology.
Dexterity in advanced programming languages; power to build sophisticated software for wide area of applications.
Skills to work with higher end applications in internet technologies; also managerial ability to analyze, design, develop and to maintain software development.
IT-BPO will employ about 2.5 to three million professionals directly in the sector by the end of this year. At the same time it exports software and services to nearly 95 countries around the world. Favourable laws and tax benefits will continue to see the spread of IT in many more places in the country.

Elgibility:
3 year Graduation.
3 year Graduation from a recognised university and six month Computer course from a reputed institution*. .
In this Lateral Entry Scheme, students have to appear and pass the First Semester Examination. Books of First semester will be supplied by the University and Internal Assessment will be completed at the Learning centre.
Successful completion of PGDIT (Revised Aug 2005) course from SMU-DE.
Students are eligible to seek admission directly to third semester. Students need not appear for the first and second semester examinations and no lateral entry fee will be applicable.
A maximum gap of one year is allowed for the students to get admitted into this scheme.
